The BCA Program

The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) Program provides a sound academic base in computer skills and application from which an advanced career in Information Technology can be developed. The students get a good conceptual grounding in computer usage and its practical business applications.

Duration : Three (3) Years

The number of seats: 30

Eligibility
Pass in 10+2 with aggregate 40% and above (any discipline).
Final year students are also eligible to apply.

Upper Age limit
Below 25 years

Program Structure:
The BCA Program is organized into 6 semesters in 3 years. There are 30 courses including soft skills. Students are additionally required to go through two summer projects and an internship in the sixth semester.

Electives:  

During the 5th semester, students are exposed to elective courses in their respective area of specialization. These elective courses provide an understanding of the specialized focus areas.

Award of Degree
Students who successfully complete BCA Program will be awarded the Bachelor of Computer Applications Degree from the University, subject to University Regulations.
